I’m going on vacation with my boyfriend’s family June 30 - July 7.

I signed up for The Color Run in Philly on July 8.

Time to get in shape. I am in no way a runner, but I could be. When I started training a little over a week ago, I could barely run two laps on the track at the gym (10 laps = a mile). Now I can run a mile straight through without getting winded.

It may not sound like much to some people, but that’s not the point when it comes to fitness. The goal is becoming a better you. If you focus on others, you aren’t going to get anywhere.

Spinning Instructor?

There’s a class coming up at my gym to get certified as a spinning instructor. I’m seriously considering doing it. I mean yeah, it’ll cost an entire paycheck to register, but spinning makes me so happy. I feel incredibly powerful whenever I do it.

I don’t want to lose a bunch of weight. I want tree trunks for legs, a toned stomach and arms, everything. Not muscular, but I want to have muscle. I want to be strong.

I will be strong.

Going to the gym tomorrow morning to spin!

Try something you wouldn’t normally try.

This Wednesday I’m going to try a zumba class. After being dragged into doing the demo by my manager at our gym’s health fair today, I knew it was something I wanted to get involved in. I sucked at it, but hey, practice makes perfect! I hear that you can pick up the moves quickly because zumba music repeats itself a lot and has great rhythm. On Thursday it’s back to spinning class!
